What is included in our travel packages?
Trips usually include the hotels and the guided touring, and often breakfast and the transfers between places. Some add domestic flights, trains or a boat. Each trip lists what is included and what is not, in writing, before you book.
Are international flights included?
No. Prices are quoted without international flights, so you can fly from wherever you are. We can arrange flights on request.
Can we change a trip?
Yes. Private tours can change hotels, add nights or drop a stop. Small group tours keep their set dates and route, and we can add nights before or after.
What is the difference between a private tour and a small group tour?
A private tour is yours alone, with your own guide and driver and days you can change. A small group tour runs on set dates with a guide and a few other travellers, at a lower cost.
How much does a trip cost?
Each trip shows a from price per person, twin share, without international flights. The price for your dates depends on the season, the hotels and how many of you travel, and we confirm it in writing before you commit.
Can we plan a trip around a celebration?
Yes. Honeymoons, anniversaries, milestone birthdays and family gatherings are what we plan most. Tell us the occasion and we add the dinner, the room and the moment to the trip. See honeymoons and anniversaries.
Can a group or family travel together?
Yes. Private tours suit families and groups of friends, with rooms that fit everyone and days paced for all ages. For bigger groups, see group travel.
How far ahead should we book?
Book 3 to 6 months ahead for most trips. Book earlier for safaris in July to October, Europe in summer and anywhere over Christmas.
