Day 1 · Zaghouan
A farm in Zaghouan
Leave Tunis at 10 am for Dar Zaghouan, where a local guide walks you around the farm and its landscape. Depending on the season, a hands-on workshop follows: a distillation demonstration, kaak el warka pastry making or tabouna bread baked in a clay oven. After a Tunisian lunch made with produce from the farm, visit the Roman Water Temple that once fed Carthage's aqueduct and stay for sunset over the mountains before dinner back at the farm.
