Day 1 · Nairobi

Maasai Mara
Day 2 · Maasai Mara
Head through the highlands and down the Rift Valley escarpment, past the chapel built by Italian prisoners of war, then on through Narok and its wheat fields to your lodge on the Mara in time for lunch. The first game drive runs through the afternoon until sunset.
Day 3 · Maasai Mara
Set out after an early breakfast to look for lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and the great herds of antelope and wildebeest. After lunch and a rest at the lodge, a second drive in the afternoon includes a visit to a Maasai village.
Lake Elementaita
Day 4 · Lake Elementaita
Drive back across the Rift Valley floor to a late lunch at your tented camp in the Soysambu Conservancy. The afternoon game drive looks for Rothschild's giraffe and the lake's many birds, including great flocks of lesser flamingo, and ends with a sundowner.
Lake Elementaita and Nairobi
Day 5 · Lake Elementaita and Nairobi
After an early breakfast, a guide walks you along the lake to see its birdlife. Then it is back to Nairobi, arriving at a city hotel around midday to continue your travels.
