Real Wedding: A Winter Wedding Dream!

Fairies, is it safe to say we all have that one friend who constantly nags to set us up with one of theirs? Well, for Randa that was definitely the case. Sticking to her guns, she insisted that fate would be fate and should she meet this ‘Issa’ person it would happen naturally…

Two years on, on a girl’s night out at the Mill Hotel, Randa had made the innocent mistake of forgetting her ID at home. Rather than calling it a night, she made a quick trip home, retrieved her ID and made her way back to the hotel. On her second attempt, Randa then got rejected for wearing the wrong pair of shoes. Luckily enough, her friend had a spare pair in her car – that although having been four sizes too big, were good enough to finally grant her access. Soon after, all the mishaps and unlikely events made complete sense – Issa was at the same event on the same night! Marking an occurrence of serendipity and the beginning of their journey together, the rest was deemed history.

The day Issa proposed was one that took Randa by complete surprise. Especially considering she had booked a hotel in the city for HIS birthday, Randa didn’t expect any of the limelight. The next morning of their stay, she had begun preparing a delicious breakfast for the birthday boy, unaware that he too was awake. Considering this to be the perfect opportunity of spontaneity, Issa slowly crept behind her, on one knee with an engagement ring at hand. Once Randa was able to speak past her tears, she said yes!

Randa and Issa’s wedding day illustrated their romance and personalities in a nutshell. Complete with a hooded cape, Randa’s love for Harry Potter streamed through her exceptional blush pink wedding gown. Her bridesmaids were dresses in black and the winter wedding dream was brought to life. Surrounded by a bundle of floral arrangements, an intimate ceremony in the gardens of the Burnham Grove Estate left guests in awe. Walking down the aisle, arm in arm with her mother, to her favourite song being sung by her best friend, Randa too left in admiration.
