Rather than planning weddings in any venue, we focus on helping couples discover exceptional heritage properties and then curate a celebration that truly belongs to that place. Our role combines venue expertise, wedding planning, and creative direction — allowing couples to access private castles and create celebrations that feel deeply connected to history and atmosphere.
Most of our weddings take place across Central Europe, particularly in the castles and heritage estates of: • Czech Republic • Austria • Poland • Slovakia • Northern Italy We also occasionally work in other historic European destinations when the venue and atmosphere align with our philosophy.
Castle Weddings focuses primarily on intimate celebrations. Most weddings host 30–80 guests, allowing couples to privatize historic estates and create a more personal experience for their family and friends. Many celebrations unfold over several days, with welcome dinners, garden lunches, and farewell brunches.

Yes — and it is one of the aspects that makes many of our weddings especially meaningful. For international couples getting legally married in Europe can sometimes involve complex paperwork. Because of this, many couples complete the legal part in their home country and then celebrate their wedding day in Europe with a symbolic ceremony. These ceremonies are deeply personal and can be designed entirely around the couple’s story, values, and traditions. At Castle Weddings, symbolic ceremonies are often led by Tatiana Klopčeková, an experienced celebrant who has guided hundreds of couples through meaningful wedding rituals. Together we help couples design ceremonies that feel authentic, intimate, and emotionally memorable — whether that includes personal vows, cultural traditions, or symbolic rituals such as handfasting or ring warming. For many couples, this becomes the most meaningful part of the entire celebration.
