Real Wedding: A Modern Day Cross-Cultural Wedding

Daniele’ and Barbara’s day began with a traditional ceremony, held at the St Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, a church very dear to Barbara as it was where her parents were married in and the place of her christening.

Daniele’ and Barbara’s big Greek and Italian cultures set the tone for their wedding, as they entered their reception alongside fire breathers and to the exhilarating sound of drummers! The reception was an embodiment of modern elegance, laced with a black and silver theme. Blurring the lines between relaxed forest greenery and extravagance, this multi-cultured wedding was a burst of something new!

A moment that made the pair feel completely on top of the world, of course, was their first dance as husband and wife. As they danced to “Adorn You” a revelation occurred, that their night was utterly perfect, full of love, laughs and soon to be, happy memories.

Barbara tells Wedded Wonderland that the most unique part of her wedding was the custom made, forest green sequin bridesmaid gowns. They were in perfect accordance with the wedding theme that truly embodied modern elegance.

“Our bridesmaids sparkled against the lush greenery and modern white florals of the day. They were so unique and daring, but being different paid off!”
