From the very beginning of their engagement, Beth and Chris knew they wanted to have a destination wedding outside of Brisbane, to make it a weekend escape with their family and close friends. “We found an amazing location at Madura Tea Estate, where we could have both our ceremony and reception in the same location. “
The couple held their ceremony in front of the rows of tea in the midst of green rolling hills, with the sun occasionally poking its head through the overcast sky, creating beautiful sun rays. Later that day their reception was held inside a chic shed, which we had decorated with lights & hanging ladders filled with foliage and Edison bulbs.
Reflecting on their Special Day, the couple told Wedded Wonderland some of the most memorable moments of the day included seeing each other at the altar, as well as walking into their reception hand in hand.
“We honestly just loved how our wedding was relaxed and family and friend focused. From having our amazing family come for the weekend from around Australia and the world, to having a close family friend officiate our ceremony. It was everything we could have wanted.”
Be inspired, Fairies!
