This beautiful couple first met at a Sydney hospital where Bassim was working and Yasmin was completing her work experience. After a few days of chatting, the pair came to the realisation that their chemistry was undeniable, and the rest is history.
On the Wedding Day, Yasmin completed her bridal preparations at the Four Seasons Hotel whilst awaiting the arrival of her husband to be. The most nerve-wracking moment for the pair was the big reveal that followed!
“He couldn’t keep still and was playing with his hands frantically! My main focus was do not fall!” Yasmin told to Wedded Wonderland. The moment the pair saw each other however, the nerves and fears disappeared and were replaced with joy and content.
The Grounds of Alexandria was yet another pleasant surprise for the pair, impressing them immensely. The bright and deep saturated florals created the prettiest yet most elegant rustic look yet. A doughnut stand was also present, adding a fun and delicious element, complete with strawberries, blueberries and other fresh fruits. Later in the evening, the pair and their guests enjoyed a three course meal and 2-tier white chocolate, vanilla jam and mixed berries semi-nude cake.
One unique wedding idea the couple found to be really memorable with their guests was their seating chart. The couple opted for a large canvas with strings and pegs to attached the guest list, with names written on little tags.When the guests arrived and found their names, they’d replace the rag with a polaroid picture of themselves. This is such a cute idea!
