Elisabeth and Matthew met at a quaint coffee shop in the historic Old Market, Omaha and the moment was like a scene from a movie. “He was speechless as approached me; there were no words at the moment. Believe it or not, time stood still. He thought that I was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. It was meant to be … He stole my heart,” Bride Elisabeth told Wedded Wonderland.
The moment Matthew proposed came at sunset as they were walking along a lake in Okoboji, Iowa, where Elisabeth had many fond childhood memories. “We were enjoying the serenity of the moment and taking my hand in his, reading an original poem, down on one knee, my beloved asked me to be his.”
Fast-forward to their stunning vineyard Wedding nestled in the Loess hills, surrounded by their close friends and family as they danced and laughed well into the night. Reflecting back on their special day, the couple told Wedded Wonderland one of the most heart-warming moments was their first glance as Elisabeth walked down the aisle, “It was a moment for which we had waited our entire lives. It was a forever moment.”
