You are met at the airport and driven to your hotel. In the afternoon follow the coast past Glyfada and Vouliagmeni to Cape Sounio, where the marble columns of the Temple of Poseidon stand above the Saronic Gulf, with time to walk the headland before returning to Athens.
Olympia
Day 2 · Olympia
Stop at the Corinth Canal, then hear the acoustics of the theatre at Epidaurus. Pause in the harbour town of Nafplio before Mycenae, its citadel and the Tomb of Agamemnon, and cross the heart of the Peloponnese to Olympia for dinner.
Delphi
Day 3 · Delphi
Walk the sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the ancient stadium and the museum. Then drive over the Rion to Antirion bridge and along the coast through Nafpaktos and Itea to Delphi, where dinner is waiting.
Athens
Day 4 · Athens
An early visit to the sanctuary and museum at Delphi, then a few free hours before the mountain village of Arachova, known for its woven rugs. Return to Athens by way of Levadia and Thebes, arriving early in the evening.
Day 5 · Athens
Leave your bags at the hotel for a guided tour past the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Syntagma Square, then up to the Propylaea, the Erechtheion and the Parthenon. Finish in the Acropolis Museum before your afternoon transfer to the airport.
