Day 1 · Athens and Cape Sounion
You are met at Athens airport and taken to your hotel. In the early afternoon, drive the coast road past the beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza to Cape Sounion, the southern tip of Attica, where the white marble columns of the Temple of Poseidon stand. There is time to walk the headland before returning to Athens.

Day 2 · Peloponnese
After breakfast, take the coast road to the Corinth Canal for a short stop, then on to the theatre at Epidaurus, known for its acoustics. Pause in Nafplio for photographs, visit Mycenae and the Tomb of Agamemnon, and cross the central Peloponnese by Tripoli and Megalopoli to Olympia.

Day 3 · Olympia and Delphi
Visit the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the ancient stadium and the archaeological museum. The road then crosses the plains of Elis and Achaia to the bridge from Rio to Antirrio, passing Nafpaktos and Itea on the way to Delphi for dinner.

Day 4 · Delphi
An early visit to the archaeological site and museum at Delphi, followed by a few free hours in the village. The drive back passes Arachova, known for its colourful rugs, and runs by Livadia and Thebes to Athens in the early evening.

Day 5 · Athens
Check out after breakfast and leave your bags at the hotel for a guided morning: the Panathenaic Stadium of the first modern Olympics in 1896, the guards at the former royal palace, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch and Syntagma Square. On the Acropolis you see the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and the Parthenon, then the Acropolis Museum. In the afternoon you are taken to the airport or Piraeus port.
