Delphi and Kalambaka
Day 2 · Delphi and Kalambaka
Head northwest to Delphi, once thought to be the centre of the world, to see the Temple of Apollo and the ancient site. Continue across the Thessalian plain to Kalambaka, at the foot of the Meteora rocks.
Meteora
Day 3 · Meteora
Visit two Byzantine monasteries built on top of sandstone towers, with views across the plain. Return to Athens by way of Thermopylae and the monument to Leonidas.
Athens
Day 4 · Athens
A guided morning from the Panathenaic Stadium to the Parthenon and the Erechtheion, then the Acropolis Museum without the queues. The rest of the day is free.
Santorini
Day 5 · Santorini
Sail from Piraeus to Santorini, where you are met and taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and wander the clifftop paths.
Day 6 · Santorini
A free day: the clifftop paths, the Akrotiri site, a winery visit, and sunset from the village of Oia.
Athens
Day 7 · Athens
Ferry back to Piraeus and a transfer to your hotel for a last evening in the city.
