Delphi and Kalambaka
Day 1 · Delphi and Kalambaka
Leave Athens for Delphi by way of Thebes, Livadia and the mountain village of Arachova on the slopes of Parnassus. After a visit to the archaeological site, continue through the villages and towns of central Greece to Kalambaka for dinner.
Meteora
Day 2 · Meteora
After breakfast, visit the monasteries of Meteora, set high on great rock towers and holding centuries of religious art. The drive back runs through Trikala and Lamia, with a short stop at Thermopylae to see the monument to Leonidas, reaching Athens early in the evening.

You spend two nights in Athens with a choice of the Acropolis, the Plaka or the Peloponnese before boarding at Piraeus. The ship calls at volcanic Milos, Kalamata and Corfu, then sails up the Adriatic to Kotor in Montenegro and Dubrovnik. After a day at sea you arrive in Venice.
