Drive by way of Thebes and Livadia to Arachova on the slopes of Mount Parnassus for a short stop. At Delphi, visit the Sanctuary of Apollo, with the Treasury of the Athenians and the Temple of Apollo, and the museum. The afternoon is free before dinner.
Kalambaka
Day 2 · Kalambaka
Breakfast, then a free morning in Delphi. Later the coach crosses central Greece by way of Lamia to Kalambaka, beneath the rocks of Meteora, for dinner.
Meteora
Day 3 · Meteora
In the morning, visit the monasteries of Meteora, perched on rock towers and home to fine Byzantine art. The road home runs through Trikala and Lamia, with a short stop at the Leonidas monument at Thermopylae, and along the coast by Kammena Vourla to Athens in the early evening.

You spend two nights in Athens with a choice of the Acropolis, the Plaka or the Peloponnese before boarding at Piraeus. The ship calls at volcanic Milos, Kalamata and Corfu, then sails up the Adriatic to Kotor in Montenegro and Dubrovnik. After a day at sea you arrive in Venice.
