You are met at the airport or Piraeus port and taken to your hotel. In the afternoon, a coach follows the coast of the Saronic Gulf past the beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza to Cape Sounion, where the 5th century BC Temple of Poseidon stands on a cliff above the sea, before returning to Athens.

Check out after breakfast and leave your bags at the hotel. A guided tour passes the marble Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Parliament and Syntagma Square, then climbs the Acropolis to the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon and the Erechtheion with its Porch of the Maidens. A short walk past the theatres of Herodes Atticus and Dionysus brings you to the Acropolis Museum, without the queue, and in the afternoon you are taken to the airport.
