Day 1 · Athens
You are met at the airport and taken to your hotel, with time to rest after the flight.
Day 2 · Athens
A guided half-day takes you past the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympics were held in 1896, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Parliament, then up to the Propylaea, the Erechtheion and the Parthenon. It finishes in the Acropolis Museum among the sculptures found on the hill. You are back at the hotel by about 1.30 pm, with the afternoon free.
Day 3 · Athens
A free day for the city. The optional food tour starts at 10.30 am in Syntagma Square with Greek coffee, then moves through specialty shops and the Varvakios market, tasting koulouri, olive oils, souvlaki, bougatsa and baklava before a final plate of meze.
Day 4 · Athens
A last morning in the city before your transfer to the airport or Piraeus port.
