Day 1 · Cape Town
You arrive in Cape Town, a harbour city at the south-western tip of Africa, known for its food, art and design.
Day 2 · Cape Town
A cable car takes you up Table Mountain for views over the city and bay. You then stroll the cobbled streets and coloured houses of the Bo-Kaap.
Day 3 · Cape Town
You drive past the Twelve Apostles and Hout Bay and over Chapman's Peak to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point.
Greater Kruger
Day 4 · Greater Kruger
You fly to a private game reserve that shares an open boundary with Kruger National Park, an area of bushveld, granite hills and savannah.
Days 5 to 6 · Greater Kruger
Two full days bring morning and afternoon drives in open vehicles and early walks with your ranger, who teaches you basic tracking. You also join a culinary experience and toast the day at dusk.
Victoria Falls
Day 7 · Victoria Falls
You fly to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and, in the evening, cruise the Zambezi to see hippos, crocodiles and birdlife at sunset.
Day 8 · Victoria Falls
A guided morning walk shows you the falls, where the Zambezi drops into a deep gorge in clouds of spray. Later you can learn about David Livingstone or meet the elephants at a nearby refuge.
Johannesburg
Day 9 · Johannesburg
You fly to Johannesburg and relax in an airport lounge before your flight home.
