Day 1 · Lisbon
A driver meets you in the arrivals hall and takes you to your hotel in the city. Rest after the flight, or head out for a first walk through the old streets.
Day 2 · Lisbon
A guided half day leaves Marquês de Pombal Square at 9 am. See the Jerónimos Monastery and the Belém Tower from outside, stop at the Monument to the Discoveries, then walk the coloured lanes of Alfama and Rossio. You are back at the hotel after about four hours, with the afternoon free.
Day 3 · Lisbon
A free day. Walk down to the port for views across the Tagus, try the local cooking, and look for an evening of fado in one of the small restaurants or bars.
Sintra
Day 4 · Sintra
The morning is free. At 2.30 pm a guided half day leaves Marquês de Pombal Square for Sintra, a royal town in the forested hills and a UNESCO World Heritage site, where palaces and castles sit in the mist. Walk the narrow streets around the National Palace, where the court spent its summers in the 15th and 16th centuries, before returning to Lisbon around 7 pm.

Day 5 · Lisbon
Another day to spend as you like, whether that is a slow lunch, a museum or one more climb to a viewpoint.

After breakfast your driver collects you from the hotel at the agreed time for the airport.
