Day 1 · Ol Pejeta Conservancy
You land in Nairobi and take a bush flight to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in the foothills of Mount Kenya. Its density of wildlife ranks among the highest of any Kenyan reserve.
Day 2 · Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Ol Pejeta is known for its rhino conservation, with Africa's fastest-growing rhino population. You visit the last two northern white rhinos on earth and learn how the rangers protect them.
Day 3 · Ol Pejeta Conservancy
You head out at sunrise as the animals begin to move, looking for elephants, reticulated giraffes and, with luck, lions. After dark, a night drive shows you animals that keep out of sight by day.
Day 4 · Ol Pejeta Conservancy
On today's drives you may see hardy Boran cattle grazing alongside the wildlife, part of the conservancy's model for sharing land. In the afternoon you fly on to the Maasai Mara.
Maasai Mara National Reserve
Day 5 · Maasai Mara National Reserve
The Mara is classic safari country and the stage for the Great Migration. You settle into camp and head out for your first drive across the plains.
Days 6 to 7 · Maasai Mara National Reserve
Morning and late afternoon drives cover more of the Mara's savannah, woodland and rivers, with time to rest in camp between them. You may see crocodiles on the riverbanks, hippos in the shallows and, if you choose, rise early for a balloon flight followed by breakfast on the plains.

You return to Nairobi to connect with your flight home.
