We have found couples have had to make really quick decisions post covid – things that they would usually consider for weeks are taking days – designs are being turned around in record time and couples just know what they want and are not wasting a minute.
Definitely, the ‘Die Cut’/ Forme Cut invitations – This is invitations cut into various shapes as opposed to the traditional square or rectangle. This began with the Arch, then moved to the double arch & half arch and now we have evolved to the ‘Wave cut/scalloped edge trend. Nude/Creamy tonal cotton card stock is always on trend and a classic with some letterpress or blind embossing.
While this adds a little more, the bottom line is couples are looking for something different to wow their guests. We are seeing die/forme cutting for both Weddings & Baby Event Stationery.
Employing more staff! As a business, we are never at ‘capacity’ we just keep employing more and more design and assembly staff to cope with the influx of orders. Our turn around times are one of the fastest Australia wide – with regular print jobs being completed within 1-2 days from artwork approval.
Have a backup plan for everything! Including suppliers, etc, as you never know what could happen.
