These 20 anniversary trip ideas run in milestone order, from a first anniversary in Kyoto to a sixtieth or later at Gleneagles. Each gives the nights, the transfer and the property's private evening. Most quote on request; published rates are in the property's own currency and change.

If you'd rather hand it over, a Wedded Advisor arranges trips like these through Wedded Concierge, including family flying in.
These five fit four or five nights, with no seaplane or light aircraft. Three are city stays where dinner is the evening, in Paris, Florence and Mexico City, and two are quieter: a ryokan reached by boat in Kyoto and a floating cabin in Lapland. Book the private evening for your second or third night, never the night you arrive.

These six suit a week or more of leave. Three are built around wine and food, at Rosewood Cape Kidnappers, Delaire Graff and Passalacqua, and three are slower: a Hakone ryokan, tea country in Sri Lanka and an island inn off Newfoundland. The shorter stays pair well with a second stop, such as Gora Kadan after Kyoto.
At Gora Kadan, meals are "generally served in your guest room":
Best for: a tenth anniversary, paired with Kyoto.

The first four are remote, and none names a doctor or hospital on its own pages, so ask. Each ends with a seaplane, a short flight or a transfer you confirm with the property, so plan a week or more and keep the anniversary dinner away from your arrival day. The fifth, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, is one night on board inside a week in Paris or Venice.

Each of these four publishes an access statement. Most keep the last leg short, from a 15-minute car from the station at Royal Champagne to a station under two minutes from Gleneagles. Confirm the step-free route to the room and the restaurant in writing before you pay a deposit.

Plan the dates with your obstetrician or midwife, and with your fertility clinic after IVF. The NHS says many women find mid-pregnancy, between four and six months, the best time to travel, and that journeys over 4 hours carry a small risk of blood clots.
Read the list this way:
The easier choices: items 2, 3, 11, 17 and 18, with no seaplane, ferry or long drive at the end.
Leave for a later anniversary: items 12 to 15, all remote.
Zika: the NHS and the CDC advise against travel to Zika-risk areas, so check each destination on your government's health page.
Heat: saunas, onsen and hot tubs raise body temperature, so ask before booking items 5 and 6.
Insurance: ask the insurer in writing whether it covers premature birth, changing your return date and an IVF pregnancy, and the week its cover ends.
Email these before you pay a deposit:
Is the route step-free to the room and the restaurant, and is there a walk-in shower with a seat?
Is all meat halal-certified, including villa dining and any private chef?
Is there a doctor on site or on call, and how far is the nearest hospital?
Will staff keep the occasion low-key, with no cake or singing unless you ask?
What is the wet-weather plan for an outdoor dinner?
Will a holiday such as Ramadan change restaurant hours on your dates?
Can the dates move if your health or plans change?
What does the private evening serve a guest who isn't drinking?
Get every answer in writing from one named person, with one email address on the booking so a surprise holds.
Spicers Vineyards Estate in Pokolbin is the closer-to-home pick. It has 12 rooms in the Hunter Valley, Restaurant Botanica and private sommelier tastings, and refunds in full 14 or more days out.

Qantas asks for a doctor's or midwife's letter after 28 weeks and, on flights of four hours or more, carries a single pregnancy to the end of week 36, or week 32 for twins. Virgin Australia also asks for a letter from 28 weeks. NSW autumn school holidays in 2027 run 12 to 23 April; check Smartraveller for your destination.
From Dubai, Emirates flies nonstop to Malé in 4 hours 10 minutes and to Mahé and Colombo in 4 hours 25. Emirates asks for a doctor's or midwife's certificate from week 29 and doesn't fly you from week 37, or week 33 for twins; a complicated pregnancy needs a MEDIF at least 48 hours before the flight. Etihad sets similar weeks. Emirates notes that some countries restrict entry for pregnant non-nationals.

If your child stays with family, stay closer: Banyan Tree AlUla has tented pool villas with private chefs, and Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea has a prayer room, plus connecting rooms if they come. Check entry on the Saudi eVisa portal. Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around 8 February (The National).
From London, the Eurostar reaches Paris in about 2 hours 16 minutes, putting items 2, 16 and 18 inside a long weekend; 3, 11, 17 and 19 are a short flight. Eurostar sets no pregnancy restrictions, so rail is the easier route after week 28. Gleneagles is "just over five and a half hours" by direct train from King's Cross. Nearer home, Cliveden House in Berkshire has two ground-floor rooms with level entry.

From New York, Paris is about seven hours nonstop on Air France, Mexico City about 5 hours 20 minutes on Aeromexico and Nairobi about 13 hours 45 minutes on Kenya Airways. The CDC notes that some airlines fly you until 36 weeks and others stop earlier, so check your carrier and raise any long flight with your OB. Closer to home, Blackberry Farm in Tennessee has fireplaces in its Hill Cottages, meals included from dinner on arrival and a three-night minimum. Check travel.state.gov before you go.
