Face the facts – finding a potential partner can be like finding a needle in a haystack. But, if we’re being honest, plenty of people have found success on dating sites and apps, and some have even found lifelong partners. Lets talk all things Tinder – the ‘swipe left, swipe right’ feature could prompt anyone to find the future partner of their dreams.
But, out of all those users and swipes, how much progress towards making long-term, meaningful relationships has there been? Take it from Wedded Wonderland’s real life couple John and Tanya who met on the online dating app!
“We met on tinder in 2013. Who would have ever thought a 28 year old Ukrainian girl could meet the man of her dreams on a Phone App?! Truth is that we never would have crossed paths without it. I’m very lucky that we both swiped right!”, Tanya tells Wedded Wonderland.

After swiping this way and that, despite all those messages and all those swipes, its now proven Tinder isn’t your ordinary hook-up app. Real couple Steph and Ben have the story to confirm it!
“Like a fair few people of our time, we met on Tinder! Our first proper date was at Tios, (a tequila bar in Sydney’s Surry Hills) and about 4 weeks later we were already discussing marriage! I guess you could say we both fell pretty hard and fast!”, Steph tells us.

The Tinder experience is something of a mechanical game. We look through photos, glance over shared interests and make a quick, five-second choice. The truth is if you’re feeling the slightest bit optimistic, take the risk and get to know that someone who can light up your world on a whole other level that you didn’t even know existed!
