This Wedding Had Stunning Floral Arrangements

Originally from Canada, Emma was travelling to Australia for a 6 month trip however after she met Luke, her holiday turned into a 7 year love story.

Celebrating 6 years together, the two went to Hamilton Island where Luke decided to pop the question. Just after the couple sent up their lanterns wishing for a bright future ahead, Luke got down on one knee and asked Emma to marry him.

Although the couple live in North Queensland, the two decided to tie in the knot in Sydney which is Luke’s hometown and the city where the two first met.

The theme was elegant and classic with stunning floral arrangements created by one of our Wedded World Suppliers Best Buds. “I chose to have burgundy flowers with some light pinks, white and ivory. I wanted to keep it neutral, but flowers are meant to bring a bit of colour to the room. They looked incredible, something else I got complements on all night” describes the bride.

Emma immediately fell in love with her wedding venue which made it an easy and smooth decision for the wedding. “The views were absolutely stunning, which I thought would be a nice touch for those coming from overseas. Sentimentally though, I thought it was really special to have the city that we met so perfectly positioned in the background”.

The couple had a total of 76 guests and some had travelled overseas to be a part of Emma and Luke’s special day. “It was the first time we had everyone we care about under the same roof and I’ll never forget that feeling. We waited 7 years for it and it was absolutely perfect”.
