We’re feeling very much inspired by the French this week, so naturally we thought we’d share a few French real weddings with our lovely Fairies.
We all know Paris is the city of romance, with its architectural beauty steeped in history and glamour. Its splendour is just as nice during the day, as it is in the evening when the lights of the Eiffel Tower twinkle and shine. But France has many enchanting locations for a dream destination wedding. The French countryside has all the old world charm, rich in culture, food and family. There are quite a few historic Chateaus scattered throughout, that would be the perfect venue for a fairy-tale wedding.

Welcome to this timeless Parisian affair. The jaw-dropping wedding of Monika and Sebastian had to make it on our list, right? Held in the most decadent Hotels in the heart of Paris this wedding had the Eiffel Tower as it’s backdrop. “We chose Paris because the city is our favourite one”, explains Monika “We lived there for almost 2 years, we got engaged there, so we couldn’t imagine a different place on Earth to say I do”.
This Parisian wedding is nothing short of a dream. Held in a picturesque French garden Shannon and Garrett had a modern yet classically beautiful wedding. How sweet is Shannon’s high-low dress?

The Chateau de La Chevre D’or offered a serene ocean view that created the ultimate ceremony backdrop! “As most of our guests flew from Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, we decided to have our ceremony and reception taking place at two different venues, with the aim to show them the most picturesque part of France and leave them with a memorable experience,” the couple told Wedded Wonderland.

Ann and Sonny’s gorgeous destination wedding is fairytale to the tee. Held at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte in Paris, their wedding included a horse drawn carriage, a Château with a moat, the most stunning Elie Saab gown and quintessentially French fireworks!
