This picturesque wedding took place at the wonderful Tanglewood estate, Victoria. While providing the ultimate hideaway, and perfect outdoor setting for a wedding ceremony, the estate also helped capture the endless love and tranquility between the pair.
You might assume that Zo and Phill are an ordinary couple who just like everybody else, tied the knot as the ultimate symbol of their love for one another. What you didn’t know however, is that the pair filled their wedding with unique and unconventional wedding ideas that we know you will love!
Zo and Phill created a somewhat comedic persona within their reception by combining their own personalities into one. A portrait of Phill and Zo by Blanka Biernat welcomed guests to a warm and inviting setting. The illustration portrayed the everyday life of the pair, including Zo in gym shoes holding weights, beside Phill in work boots while holding a bundle of carrots. The portrait was also attached to the menus, allowing guests to begin their night with a few laughs and comedic conversations. As the pair both lived and worked on a vegetable farm it also seemed fitting to thank guests with vegetable seeds as their bonbonnieres. In a quirky twist, the seed packets inscribed the words ‘let love grow’ along with their wedding date.
Later in the night as formalities joyfully flowed into party mode, Zo slipped into a sparkly silver dress. Along with an espresso martini serve to each guest, “the party started and the dance floor was never empty!”
The most unique part of Zo’s wedding was the multi-purpose Sketch and Etch custom made sign of her and Phill’s names! First the sign was used to welcome guests into the venue, then it was re-purposed into the photographs taken of guests as a form of memorabilia for the wedded couple on their big day.
