Real Wedding: A Scenic Adelaide Wedding That’s to die

A mix of Elizabeth’s southern Italian traditions together with James’ English heritage shaped the scenic wedding dream! Although Elizabeth found it difficult to accommodate for her big Italian family, her dream of an outdoor wedding never died.

The Adelaide Entertainment Centre offered a unique blank canvas allowing the pair to run wild with their vision. They were able to personalise the space to reflect their personalities and ultimately, their relationship. Venue productions considered Elizabeth and James’ wedding to be the largest display of icicle fairy lights in Adelaide! Truly embraced her initial concept of bringing the outdoors in, Elizabeth filled the room with starlight, happiness and romantic blooms.

Entering the reception side by side, Elizabeth and James danced and cheered to the Happy Days theme song – which also happened to be the same song Elizabeth’s parents walked into at their wedding in 1978.

Elizabeth later shared with Wedded Wonderland her funniest memories…

“After the ceremony a large gust of wind came and swept away my veil! Luckily the photographer captured the moment and it was quite funny with everyone trying to get it down from the church pillars.”

“It was also funny when they let off the flower cannons during our first dance and James jumped. You would never know that he was with me when I booked them!”
