The Savoy sits on Via Poseidonia in Capaccio Paestum, between the fine-sand beach and the Greek temples of Paestum. All of its spaces are recognised by the municipality for civil ceremonies, so vows can be legal wherever you choose to hold them. Couples marry in the Majolica Garden, dressed in hand-painted Vietri ceramics, or on the sand at Beach Club 93, with the Cilento park on 1 side, the Amalfi Coast on the other and Capri ahead.

Guests stay across 8 categories at the Savoy, from Classic and Executive rooms through Terrace Rooms and Junior Suites to the Savoy Suite, the large Paestum Suite and a Beach Villa suite on the sea. The group's Esplanade Boutique Hotel adds more rooms nearby for bigger weddings.

Receptions can move outdoors to the White Terrace above the palm-lined park and lava stone pool, or to La Veranda, set up with food stations and Gio Ponti ceramics. For indoor dinners there are 3 themed halls: Sala dei Cristalli with 19th-century crystal, Sala dei Coralli with antique coral collections, and Sala delle Foglie, styled like a greenhouse. A personal planner coordinates the day.

Between events, guests swim in the resort's pools, including a lava stone infinity pool and a saltwater pool, spend time at Holos SPA, or take a cabana at Beach Club 93. The temples of Paestum are on the doorstep, and the Amalfi Coast is within driving range.

Can we have a legal civil ceremony on the beach at the Savoy?
The hotel states that all its spaces are recognised as municipal venues for civil ceremonies, and Beach Club 93 is one of its ceremony settings.
Is the Savoy on the Amalfi Coast?
No. It is in Paestum on the Cilento coast, south of Salerno, with the Amalfi Coast visible across the gulf.
Can the Michelin-starred restaurant be part of the celebration?
Ristorante Tre Olivi, which holds a Michelin star under chef Oliver Glowig, is on site and is a natural choice for a welcome or rehearsal dinner.
Where do guests stay if the wedding is large?
