Weddings and celebrations at
Amalfi Coast and Sorrento, Italy
Vows on the terraces with Capri and Ischia on the horizon, aperitivo across the gardens, then a Sorrentine dinner indoors.

A privately run event venue in the hills above Sorrento, with garden terraces looking across the Gulf of Naples to Capri and Ischia.
Castore sits on Via Nastro Azzurro, a few kilometres out of Sorrento, where the land rises into green hills above the coast. Couples who want a legal ceremony usually marry in town first, then bring guests up the hill for the reception. Symbolic ceremonies can be held on the property itself, on the terraces or in the gardens, with the islands lining the horizon behind you.
Castore is an event venue rather than a hotel, so guests stay in Sorrento or along the peninsula and are brought up for the celebration. That gives you the full spread of town accommodation, from small family hotels to grand cliff-top addresses, all within a short drive.
The venue mixes outdoor and indoor space, so aperitivo can run across the terraces and lawns while the halls are set for dinner. A bar counter anchors the lounge area for drinks after the meal, and the team can bring in a sound system and lighting when the dancing starts. The kitchen handles both traditional Sorrentine cooking and more modern menus, and a coordinator stays with you through the planning and on the day itself.
Between events, Sorrento works well as a base: ferries leave the port for Capri, Naples and Ischia, and the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii are both day trips. Castore also runs a cooking school, which makes an easy group activity for the days around the wedding.
The whole venue can be reserved for a single couple and their guests.
Open terraces look across the Gulf of Naples to Capri and Ischia.
Furnished halls with a bar counter give a backup without leaving the property.
The kitchen cooks traditional Sorrentine or modern menus shaped with each couple.
Couples often marry legally at the Sorrento cloister first, then drive up for the reception.

Aperitivo runs across the terraces and lawns while the indoor halls are set for dinner from the in-house kitchen. After the meal, drinks move to the bar in the lounge, and the dancing starts under the lights.
