An 18-hectare Ubud resort running down to the Petanu River, with 4 event spaces that scale from a 50-guest ceremony to a 150-guest jungle reception.
Ceremonies at Maya Ubud usually take place at the Ceremonial Plaza, an open-air deck set into the jungle canopy with the Petanu River valley behind it, sized for up to 50 guests. Larger groups can marry on the Tree Bar Terrace, an open pavilion with a timber deck above the valley that fits up to 100 and can be kept for the reception too.
Maya Ubud has 108 keys: 48 Forest Suites in 2 wings near the lobby and 60 villas strung along the edges of the gardens, from Jacuzzi and Pool Villas to a 2-bedroom pool villa and the Maya Presidential Villa. Every room has a private outdoor space facing the jungle or river valley.
For big celebrations, the Amphitheatre is the main reception space: close to 1,000 sqm of paved stone terrace wrapped in greenery, taking up to 150 guests for dinner, dancing or Balinese performances. Mayasari, the resort's indoor restaurant with an alfresco terrace, seats up to 70 and works as the wet-season back-up. With 4 venues spread across the grounds, couples can hold the welcome drinks, ceremony and dinner in different settings without leaving the resort.
Between events, guests join complimentary group yoga in the pavilion overlooking the rice terraces, book a treatment in the Spa at Maya's garden pavilions, play tennis or take lunch at The River Café beside the Petanu. Ubud town is within walking distance, and a complimentary shuttle runs for those who prefer not to walk.
The Ceremonial Plaza is an open-air deck facing the Petanu River valley, for up to 50 guests.
The Amphitheatre is a 994 sqm stone terrace wrapped in greenery, set for dinner and dancing.
