Vows in the open-air Yoga Pavilion over the Tjampuhan Valley, then dinner at Kemiri beside its waterfall-fed pond.

Photos: COMO Uma Ubud
A 46-key COMO retreat above the Tjampuhan Valley, small enough to take over entirely and close enough to walk into Ubud town.
Most couples hold the ceremony in the open-air Yoga Pavilion, which looks over the Tjampuhan Valley and suits up to 25 guests. Larger groups move into the Yoga Studio, a light-filled room for up to 40 that doubles as the wet-weather plan, and a private villa pool deck is another choice for a very small exchange of vows.
The 46 rooms, suites and villas sit along planted pathways leading off the central pool. Categories run from Ubud Rooms and Terrace Rooms to Pool Suites and walled villas with courtyards and private pools, so families and couples can be matched to the right space. The wedding pair often take the Uma Pool Villa, which sleeps 8.
Receptions usually shift to Kemiri, an open-air restaurant under an alang-alang thatch beside a waterfall-fed pond, seating 70 when hired exclusively. Uma Cucina takes the same number for a long Italian dinner, while Uma Bar opens onto the 25m pool for cocktails before or after. Because the resort is compact, guests walk between every part of the day, and a buyout keeps the gardens and pool for your group alone.
Between events, guests join the daily yoga and morning walks, book treatments at COMO Shambhala Spa, or head out on the Tjampuhan Ridge Walk, a bike ride through nearby villages or a day trip to Kintamani's temples and volcano views. Ubud's cafes and galleries are a short walk away.
Booking every suite and villa keeps the gardens and pool for your group alone.
The open-air pavilion overlooks the Tjampuhan Valley, with the Yoga Studio for 40 as backup.
The thatched open-air restaurant serves Indonesian dishes beside a waterfall-fed pond.
Balinese massage, daily yoga and guided morning walks fill the days between events.
Ubud town centre is a short walk or a 5-minute shuttle away.

You say your vows in the open-air Yoga Pavilion, looking out over the Tjampuhan Valley, with your closest people around you. For the smallest exchange of vows, the pool deck of a private villa works just as well.
Dinner follows at Kemiri, under an alang-alang thatch beside a waterfall-fed pond, and cocktails at Uma Bar spill out onto the pool deck. The resort is compact, so everyone walks between each part of the day.
Your advisor checks each one against your date and guest count:
The 46 rooms, suites and villas sit along planted pathways off the central pool, and the walled villas have courtyards and private pools of their own. The couple often take the Uma Pool Villa, which sleeps 8. Between events, guests join the daily yoga or walk the Tjampuhan Ridge, and Ubud's cafes and galleries are a short walk away.
