Day 1 · Milan
Make your way to the hotel and settle in. At 5pm a private guide meets you there for a walk past Sforza Castle, once home to the city's ruling family, to the Duomo, Italy's largest church, with its forest of rooftop statues. Finish in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where you are free to browse the shops.
Day 2 · Milan
In the morning a small group visit with a timed ticket gives you a full fifteen minutes in front of Leonardo's Last Supper. Later, a local guide takes you through the canal district of the Navigli for an aperitivo of cocktails, wine or beer with Milanese street food, finishing with gelato.
Lake Como and Lugano
Day 3 · Lake Como and Lugano
A coach takes you to Como for a look around the old town, then an hour's cruise past the lakeside villas, including Villa d'Este at Cernobbio. The drive continues along the shore and over the Swiss border to Lugano, with free time for lunch and the shops of Via Nassa before returning to Milan.

After breakfast there may be time for a final walk or some shopping before you head to the airport or station.
