You watch the dabbawalas at work at a railway station, lunch at a local restaurant and walk a spice market. The evening is spent at your hotel over cocktails and dinner.
Jaipur and Ranthambore
Day 3 · Jaipur and Ranthambore
You fly by private jet to Jaipur and drive towards Ranthambore, with a camel cart ride and lunch at a castle on the way. In the evening an expert talks about the park's wildlife.

Day 4 · Ranthambore
Two game drives take you looking for tigers, leopards, sloth bears and crocodiles. You also see how a local learning centre helps villagers live alongside tigers, or you can visit Ranthambore Fort instead.
Jaipur
Day 5 · Jaipur
You drive to Jaipur and check in to a garden villa with a private plunge pool, then explore the city in the afternoon.
Day 6 · Jaipur
You explore the red sandstone Amber Fort above its lake, then the City Palace and the giant instruments of Jantar Mantar.
Day 7 · Jaipur
You choose a morning cycle with chai, a visit to a craft training centre for local women or a walk outside Nahargarh Fort. Later a pandit leads a Hindu blessing ceremony.
Agra and Varanasi
Day 8 · Agra and Varanasi
Your private jet flies you to Agra to see the Taj Mahal and hear its story, then on to Varanasi.

You visit Sarnath, where the Buddha gave his first sermon, and its museum of Buddhist art. At dusk you watch the aarti ceremony beside the Ganges.

A private boat at dawn takes you past the ghats. Later you fly to Delhi for a farewell dinner.

You visit Jama Masjid, ride a rickshaw through Chandni Chowk and see Humayun's Tomb, with lunch on the rooftop of a restored haveli.

After breakfast, a private transfer takes you to the airport.

Begin in Delhi, then fly east to Varanasi for the evening ceremony on the Ganges and a dawn boat ride. From there you follow the temples of Khajuraho and Orchha to Agra and the Taj Mahal, then the forts and palaces of Jaipur before driving back to Delhi.

This version of the Golden Triangle gives Delhi a full day, from the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk to Humayun's Tomb and the Qutub Minar. You then spend two nights in Jaipur and one in Agra, visiting the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort on the final morning before the drive back to Delhi airport.
