Lunch at a haveli on the way to Jaipur, then the evening aarti at Birla Temple.

Up to Amber Fort by jeep, then the City Palace, the Palace of Winds and the Jantar Mantar observatory.
Agra

The deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri on the way to Agra.

The Taj Mahal, then the red sandstone halls of Agra Fort.
Khajuraho

The morning express to Jhansi, the palace and cenotaphs of Orchha, and on by road to Khajuraho.

Begin in Delhi, then fly east to Varanasi for the evening ceremony on the Ganges and a dawn boat ride. From there you follow the temples of Khajuraho and Orchha to Agra and the Taj Mahal, then the forts and palaces of Jaipur before driving back to Delhi.
