Where there’s a will there’s a way – or in this case, where there’s no Will there’s a Grace, or Debra Messing to be exact.
In what looks like a high-profile example of “sologamy,” the actress – who we will forever, and lovingly, associate with Will & Grace – gifted herself the ring of her dreams and took to Instagram to show if off.
With the caption, “I proposed to myself,” Messing is shown beaming at the camera with the large emerald ring sparkling on her finger. Beside her are LA-based jewellers Alexandra Jules, who are the ones responsible for the gorgeous creation.

Messing then clarifies what the ring is, writing, “Actually I had my dream ring made by these two brilliant jewelers @alexandrajules. Thank you so much for making my dream come true” and including the caption #dontwaitforsomeoneELSEtodoit!
Fans loved the post, congratulating her for treating herself rather than waiting on someone else. The gift is especially endearing as Messing only finalised her divorce from Daniel Zelman last year, after initially separating in 2010.
And while Messing didn’t take the sologamy plunge and marry herself like this Italian woman did earlier this year, we’re just happy that our Grace finally got her dream ring.
