There is no specific time since I have planned marvellous events in 6 months time. Surely at least one year prior woudl be ideal to be sure to secure the best locations (some are fully booked one year in advance) and vendors, besides having all the necessary time to plan effectively and efficiently with no rush, most of all for the clients.
After the clients signed the contract, we schedule a long call with both of them to go through all different moments of the event, their desires and dreams and, in terms of design, to clearly understand the do's and don'ts they are expecting so to be able to create a design mood board as soon as the venue is secure, respecting specific elements.
Personally we don't. In order to provide our clients with the best vendors, and proving how hectic the wedding season can be from one year to the other, we tend to quickly submit them the various options for the various services needed. We have learned from the Covid experience how important is to be quick to give our clients the best they are looking for and deserve.
Working on totally tailor made events, we offer three different Collections, whose price is completely bespoke, depending on the level of service our clients require and on the 'scope' of each event. We have a basic fee from which we start to create each proposal we send out.
