Bridal Trend Report: Plunging Necklines, Exposed Shoulders and 3D Florals

Designers have planted the seed for blooming appliqué blossoms, crystal beads, and exposed shoulders for bridal trends with Marchesa leading the pack. The label recently showcased a 3D-dose of flower power inspired by fairytale garden in a collection of imaginative gowns with romantic necklines, luscious fabrics and soft, elegant skirts.

3D Floral Appliques

If you’re not into lace or sparkle, lean towards the new world of floral design. For spring 2017, many designers focused on the detail – an array of gorgeous gowns rendered in fluttering 3D embroidery thus proving nature is far from boring!

Exposed Shoulders

The ultimate exposure for spring comes in the form of timeless off-the-shoulder cuts. From dramatic yet plush ball gowns to soft, ethereal styles with floral appliques, this season’s wedding looks seem fit for a chic fairytale affair.

Plunging Necklines

How can we define a modern princess bride, aesthetically speaking? Plunging necklines. The Marchesa spring is in the air with laid-back, v-shape neck silhouettes that speak of ‘relaxed sophistication’. With languid fabrics conveying an endearing attitude, a hint of tulle is also key for achieving a princess vibe.
