7 Wedding Dress Looks Heating Things Up this Winter

Expect ruffles, feathers, and tiered layering this winter, not to mention long sleeve styles turning up in some of our favourite collections. One designer that has us cosying up to the idea of being a winter bride is Abu Dhabi-based designer, Hamda Al Fahim. She officially ushered in the age of seasonal trends with her latest collection that features intricate detailing and fairy-tale inspired designs.

These seven looks from her latest collection play with texture and detailing to inspire any bride this season.

Long Sleeve Wonder

The long sleeve gown plays a major role – illustrating the timeless fairy tale theme every bride yearns for her special day. Whether you’re into plunging necklines or high neck royalty, the long sleeve remains a classic, especially for the wintry season.

Floral Appliques

The embroidered gown is all about the exquisite craftsmanship, not to mention the luxurious feel a bride gets during the wintry season. Made from layers of delicate tulle, this design is embellished head to toe with fine gold flowers, dainty beads, elegant glitter and twinkling crystals. What more could a dashing bride want?

Abundance of Layers

The multitude of layers takes forefront and centre stage – and what bride doesn’t adore hundreds of tulle tiers draping to the floor. With some dainty accessories, the classic ball gown creates a dreamy silhouette!

Sparkling Gold Hues

The wondrous and pure beauty of gold hues have been appliqued through many wedding gowns this year. With a little embroidery, silver glitter and sparkling sequins, this gown gives off a more demure and allure in the silhouette.

Ruffled Galore

Femininity at its finest, the ruffled wedding gown is made from endless yards of luscious tulle. From a pleated bodice to flared skirt, this style of gown will cause a dramatic entrance while still being opulent and refined.

Feathered Grandeur

The swan motif is ever-so grandeur – pleated tulle, sparkling beads and most prominent, feather appliques. The animalistic trend is here to stay for the season with voluminous detailing and panels of luscious layers.

The Off-Shoulder

Modern and simple, the off-shoulder wedding gown speaks volumes with luxurious ivory satin that grazes the body so elegantly. With the addition of frill detailing, this Al Fahim dress evokes a sense of drama to the overall allure of the off-shoulder winter trend.
