Savannah Chrisley kept one name to herself for more than a year. She is engaged to Jason Galanis, 56, and already married to him: People reports marriage records show they wed on Tuesday 14 July 2026 at Cayman Islands Baptist Church.

Her announcement on Instagram on 27 October never used his name. "I've prayed for this life. I've cried for this life," it began, before the line that set off the search: "And then God sent me J."
The J in that post had been her husband since July.
She confirmed the wedding herself on 1 November, on the first episode of Golden Tate's YouTube show The Golden Ticket, People reported.
"We ended up getting married in the Cayman Islands in July," she told Tate. "So we did everything there, but we haven't filed [in the U.S.] because then it will be public record, right?"
No wedding photos have been released. The announcement video shows ultrasound photos, her hand on her bare bump and a kiss at the kitchen island.
Nic Kerdiles, the name in older engagement headlines, is her former fiancé. They split in 2020.
Yes. Her own words and the records People obtained agree, though she says nothing has been filed in the US.
They began dating in July 2025. She met him "in the world of politics", she said on her podcast, but they didn't date until after her parents were pardoned, USA Today reported.
In December 2025, five months in, he proposed in the Cayman Islands. Seven months after that, on 14 July, they married, two days before his 56th birthday, as TV Insider noted.
On 26 October she posted a teaser: "I've kept a LOT private this year." The next morning brought the announcement and a new episode of her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley.
Why announce an engagement three months after the wedding? She hasn't said, beyond that line about public record.
They live near Nashville, in a $2.2 million house she bought, TMZ reports.
Us Weekly confirmed that the J of her post was Jason Galanis, a former business associate of Hunter Biden and Devon Archer, Fox 5 Atlanta reports.
He is 56 and she is 29, a gap of 27 years.
He pleaded guilty to two securities fraud schemes.
In September 2020 a federal court in Manhattan sentenced him to 189 months, almost 16 years, according to the Justice Department.
In one, he concealed his control of Gerova Financial Group and sold its stock at prices propped up by coordinated trades. In the other, he misappropriated the proceeds of bonds issued by a Native American tribal entity.
Before their releases, he and Todd Chrisley were held at the same prison, TMZ also reports.
Whether the two men ever met there is unclear.
On 28 March 2025 President Trump commuted his sentence "to time served with no further fines, restitution, probation, or other conditions", the clemency warrant reads.
A commutation ends the sentence but, unlike a pardon, leaves the conviction in place. Todd and Julie Chrisley received full pardons on 27 May 2025.
Commuted, then. Not pardoned.
She raised the age gap herself, on Unlocked. "Yes, there is a huge age gap there, OK?" she said. "I genuinely do not care."
The gap, she said, was part of why she kept him private: "I know how brutal the public can be."
Once his name and record were public, the backlash came anyway. On 31 October she answered it in her Instagram Stories: "People can be quick to judge, quick to condemn and slow to show grace."
On the podcast she had already put it her own way. She would rather "20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just meh years".
Her podcast's Instagram promised "a tiny island, a hidden ring and one very nervous fiancé".
On the 27 October episode she told it, as E! News quoted: "Jason and I were in the Cayman Islands and little did I know he had a ring in his backpack."
The ring nearly gave itself away. "Jason was getting a charger out of his backpack," she said, and soon after he left a box on the counter. She wasn't 100 per cent sure what was in it.
He proposed the next day at the beach.
Before he opened the box, she recalled, he told her: "This can be whatever you want it to be. This can be an engagement ring, a promise ring, a cocktail ring for all I care."
She chose engagement ring.
He designed it with Genovese Jewelers, a family-run store in St. Louis, Missouri, People reports.
Page Six describes a large oval-cut centre stone with a half-moon diamond either side, set in rose gold on a pavé band, worn with an oval eternity band.
Neither the couple nor the jeweller has confirmed the size or the price.
The figures in circulation are an outside estimate from Rare Carat's Ajay Anand, given to Page Six: a 15 to 18 carat centre stone, worth "upwards of $1.5 million".
Her own review, from the same episode: "The ring is insane and it's everything I ever wanted."
Todd and Julie Chrisley talked it through on the 29 October episode of Bunnie Xo's Dumb Blonde podcast, USA Today reported.
On his first reaction, he was plain. "It was not something that I embraced," he said, and Julie agreed: "Not at all."
"I had a choice to make," Todd went on. "It was either embrace my daughter's decision or lose my daughter."
He put the age gap at about 20 years, lower than the 27 their ages give, and joked: "She'll have 20 years with him and I'll retire with him in the assisted living."
And where has he landed? "He has treated her with the utmost of respect."
She was almost 21 weeks pregnant at the 27 October announcement, she said on Unlocked. She has endometriosis and adenomyosis, and doctors had told her she might find it hard to get pregnant.
The positive test came on holiday, about a month after an egg retrieval.
On 31 October she wrote on Instagram: "For years I truly believed my body was failing me." Then: "Between endometriosis and IVF, I left so many appointments asking what I was doing wrong."
Neither she nor Galanis has shared a due date or the baby's sex. Her podcast account has asked followers to guess.
The bigger celebration was set for 9 January 2027. "It has just been pushed a few months to May of 2027," she said on Unlocked, because of the pregnancy.
On The Golden Ticket she put it more briefly, motioning to her bump: "The wedding was supposed to be in January, [but] I have a real-life wedding crasher."
Neither the venue nor the dress for May has been announced.
Reba McEntire plans a wedding of three or four days on her farm, and Julia Roberts followed her midnight ceremony in Taos with a party the next night.
If your own plans run on two dates, her order is worth borrowing. Marry abroad with the people closest, then fly everyone else in months later. Our three-day wedding plan shows how to pace the second celebration.
She kept his name to herself for more than a year, and their wedding for three months. May is the first date she has shared in advance.
