This Wedding Is Ever So Glamorous

Marianne and Domenico tied the knot in a simply glamorous wedding!

When her husband proposed Marianne was over the moon and full of excitement to begin planning her dream wedding. However, COVID restrictions threw a spanner in the works!

“With everything locked in by the beginning of 2020, 450 people, everything was set! It was just minor things we had to plan in the months leading up to the big day! In March 2020, COVID hit Australia with a bang! I remember being at work the day Scott Morrison announced, no weddings.. it wasn’t that long before July. At the time, I was devastated. I cried my eyes out. Every day was filled with mixed emotions.”

As their wedding day approached the couple postponed their wedding to later in the year as certain restrictions including no dancing or mingling were still in place.

“The months went on and a second wave hit. Restrictions were put back in place No dancing, no mingling. Here we go again. We prayed. We had hope. We thought about postponing again, but we couldn’t. We couldn’t stop our lives any longer. We decided to do it. The excitement kicked in! We were GETTING MARRIED!! We invited 150 people. We cut out 300 people. This was the hardest part. The week before the wedding, it was announced that the bridal party were able to dance. Our prayers were finally answered.
The 2nd of October was nothing but amazing. It was everything I expected and MORE! The love in the room was indescribable.

Beautiful bride Marianne donned a divine off the shoulder Pallas Couture gown complete with a killer thigh-high slit that showed off her sparkling heels and complemented her look with a beautiful headpiece.

Her 22 person bridal party was big and glamorous including ten stunning bridesmaids and two flower girls who stood by her side in their gorgeous gowns.

The couple certainly celebrated in style and we can’t get enough of the images!

Marianne’s advice to brides during this time is not to postpone love. “It’s not worth it. Love is patient but don’t be too patient! I wouldn’t have changed anything.”
