On Shmuel’s 27th Birthday, he decided to go on a helicopter ride over Miami with Lily. The helicopter flew over their homes and the pilot slowly flew over to Lily’s neighbourhood and the helicopter slowly descended towards her backyard. It was only until the helicopter turned around and Lily noticed so many people in her backyard and huge letters spelling out the words ‘Marry Me’. She was definitely caught by surprised and once they landed, Shmuel went down on one knee and proposed!
The couple went for a classic yet modern wedding, pairing this with an ivory and gold colour scheme accompanied by lush greenery. Their wedding featured customised staging and hanging pieces.
During the couple’s Chuppah ceremony, two flower walls adorned the venue adding a luxurious feel to the ceremony. The couple customised their table centre pieces, linens including the shape of their tear drop tables which gave the wedding a unique and diverse spin.
“My mom is an event planner back home in Miami so pulling off an incredible destination wedding like she did was a dream come true” explains Lily.
The couple also had McDonald’s catering on the dance floor at 2am for the perfect late night snack while everyone partied and danced the night away.
