20 new fresh-faced Aussies are ready to get hitched! 10 brides and 10 grooms will each be matched together with perfect strangers and thrown into newlywed life.

Who could forget runaway bride Lauren, who vanished before Andrew could even turn around, or when Deb wanted a “Polynesian person from the Islands.” And, of course, Alene’s future-predicting bridesmaid!

This season, our eyes are on 31-year-old Blair, who is looking for her second chance at love after tragically finding out her ex-husband cheated on her for months.

We’ll also be keeping a careful eye on Dean, 39, after his rather sexist comments about his “wishlist” for his future bride.

“I like a girl that is a girl and is girlie and knows that I’m the man and that I’m in charge,” said the Executive Creative Director in a TV spot for the latest season.

However, it’s not all tragic and cringeworthy. Zoe Hendrix and Alex Garner – the only couple who have stayed together after meeting on the show – welcomed their first-born child, a daughter named Harper Rose, at the end of 2016.
