Every great love story has a setting that feels like it was waiting for them. For Vineet and Megha, that setting was their Indian wedding in Phuket. After being together for some time, they knew the moment had arrived to begin their next chapter. They wanted it among the people who matter most, with the ocean close by, so they invited around 100 family and friends to celebrate with them.
What followed was less a wedding weekend than a film in three acts, planned by Stylish Events Phuket. There were crimson curtains, a bohemian dance floor, a clifftop of marigolds and a mandap at sunset. At the centre of every frame were two people who were clearly delighted to be there.

The story opens at Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort, at the hour when the light goes soft and the room begins to glow.
Deep crimson drapery swept across the venue. Crystal chandeliers shimmered overhead, and candlelight flickered against rich florals. It was cinematic, but also intimate, the kind of room where you lower your voice without being asked.

Then the couple walked in. Vineet wore sharp black and carried himself with ease. Megha wore a silver gown that moved like water with every step. The room responded with applause, laughter and the particular emotion of watching people you love arrive at a moment they've been heading towards for a long time.
Then the music rose and the evening let go. Glasses went up, cake was cut, and signature cocktails kept appearing. The dance floor filled with spontaneous energy that no one had scheduled. It felt like a first scene that promised more to come.
On day two, the story moved to Casa Boho Phuket and changed key completely.
The mehndi was loud, joyful and gloriously unserious. Tropical energy, bold fashion and bohemian island style set the tone as guests arrived dressed to be seen. Megha chose emerald green, and she wore it with total confidence as she danced among her friends and family. Vineet joined the festivities with a stylish entrance of his own.

Between the playful group performances and the moments no choreographer could have planned, the afternoon showed what a modern Indian destination wedding can be. Tradition and party sit together easily, and the laughter is part of the ritual.
As the sun dropped, the mehndi turned into an evening party. Cocktails flowed, the music got louder, and guests danced late into the night at one of Phuket's most stylish venues.
The final day began high above the sea.
The haldi was held in an intimate clifftop setting, with the ocean sweeping out behind it and golden afternoon light over everything. The space was dressed in cheerful yellow florals and marigold tones, warm and bright and full of life. Vineet and Megha arrived in striking colours, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Turmeric was applied with love, and smiles turned to laughter again and again. Between rituals, the couple found quiet moments of their own, sitting together beneath parasols and looking out to sea while petals drifted through the air. Guests cheered from just beyond the frame.
Then evening came.
For the ceremony, the setting turned ethereal. Soft sunset light touched cascading white florals, and a floral mandap hung with delicate blooms and flowing drapery. Megha entered in a shimmering blush-toned ensemble, graceful and poised. Vineet waited in a contemporary ivory look that suited the couple's modern style.
Then the rituals began. Family blessings were given and garlands were exchanged. Their glances said what words couldn't. Every detail honoured the tradition of an Indian wedding ceremony, yet nothing felt borrowed. It felt fresh, stylish and entirely theirs. As the twilight deepened, two families became one.

This was an editorial wedding, but not because of the styling alone. It worked because the styling served the people in it.
Each day had its own mood. Crimson glamour, island party, marigold sunshine, then white and blush at dusk. Three days never felt like one repeated.
The venues did real work. A resort for the formal evening, a bohemian venue for the party and a clifftop for the ritual gave every event a distinct sense of place.
The guest list stayed close. With around 100 people, everyone was part of the story rather than watching it.
The couple led. Their joy shaped every moment, and the design followed.
Phuket delivers everything an Indian destination wedding asks for: tropical beauty, ocean views, warm hospitality and a team who can bring a multi-day vision to life.
