THE BIGGEST TREND IN KID’S PARTIES IS…

The only thing we love almost as much as a Wedding is a party – and what could be cuter than a kids birthday? We sent a photographer along with capture our Fairy-Godmother Wendy’s youngest son’s 1st birthday and spoke with Mary from Mary Ronis Events to find out what her current pick for the biggest trend in styling is.

And it turns out that this season, it’s all about colour for kids; so it’s time to step away from the clean Scandinavian look and embrace bright hues!

Mary says, “Colour is the unspoken language of fun and adventure. It allows you to walk into a room and still have that fresh feeling of wide-eyed astonishment you had when you were a child. It brings a bit of magic in any space.”

She adds, “Colour sets the scene for your event and creates mood like nothing else can. Bold, bright colours make a much bigger overall impression, they create the illusion of space and stimulate the senses.”

Her biggest tip? Don’t limit yourself to just colour blocking. Experiment with bright coloured dots, stripes or patterns and if you are adventurous, create an impact by combining some of these together.
