The Proposal
Courtney and Luke’s love story began in 2019, and before they knew it, they were head over heels for each other. Like every couple, they dreamed of tying the knot and decided on a wedding date in September 2020. However, fate had other plans as the world faced its challenges. They embraced the situation and postponed the wedding until May 2021—a blessing in disguise. During this time, they purchased their first home and managed to secure all their dream vendors, making their big day even more special.

All The Details of Courtney & Luke’s Italian Wedding
Courtney, an “Aussie,” and Luke, an Italian, wanted their wedding to be an amalgamation of their heritages, with quirky Italian elements adding a touch of fun. From spray-painted nonnas figiandani cactus to a vintage car that turned into the best photo op, every detail showcased their unique personalities. And how can we forget the limoncello shot toast by Luke’s dad, pink concrete columns, and bedazzled statue head? It was truly a celebration of love with a delightful Italian twist!
Amidst the gloom of 2020 and 2021, Courtney and Luke were determined to make their wedding a burst of color and joy. The talented Natalia from Fleur Societe understood their vision perfectly and crafted bold, punchy floral arrangements that breathed life into the venue’s white interior. The vibrant florals set the stage for a celebration like no other.
Courtney’s Gown
Courtney’s gown from KYHA Studios was a modern take on tradition that stole everyone’s hearts. With a combination of modern and traditional elements and a fabric that felt as unique as her love for Luke, the gown was undeniably “her.” Christie Nicolaides’ statement earrings and the “something old”—pearls from her mother’s wedding tiara sewn into the veil—completed her breathtaking look.
The Venue
Choosing Ambrose Estate was a no-brainer for Courtney and Luke. With over 200 guests on the invite list (Italian weddings, you know!), they wanted a laid-back atmosphere with a scenic view. The venue’s simple white interior was ideal for Courtney, an interior designer, as it allowed them to create a reception that truly reflected their personalities.
