Sarah and Manny’s Fun-Filled Destination Wedding

Sarah and Manny celebrated a fun-filled wedding with a heaving dance floor, guests having a great time… And love in the air! The couple wedded at the Jackalope Hotel in Victoria amongst their dearest.

The Proposal

They had been together for eight years and Sarah can honestly say the proposal was the best surprise of her life! After multiple attempts at a destination proposal, Manny’s plans went down the drain due to COVID ruining travel his plans. Three plans at a proposal left the ring in a sock draw for quite a while… Until they woke up one morning in January 2021 and Manny said he’d booked a hotel in the Barossa Valley called The Louise. Sarah was so confused about why they’d be going away but it ended up being the most magical holiday.

The Wedding Day

Sarah and Manny’s wedding was definitely not traditional!

The pair tried their best to do the ‘right’ thing and not sleep in the same room the night before. Lo and behold Sarah heard a knock at her door at 1 am and sure enough it was Manny. She was so excited because she couldn’t sleep without him! “There was something so special about sharing the last night together before the big day”

Throughout the entire lead-up to their wedding, the couple had told Jackalope that they could expect the Afterparty to be a really calm vibe, super relaxed, and they truly believed it would be… The Afterparty ended up being anything but! Their DJ and sax player had the dance floor heaving, shirts were off, Sarah had a surprise outfit change and was on the bar pouring champagne into Manny’s mouth… Everybody completely let loose! “It was one of those moments that even if we wanted to recreate it in the future could never be the same. Truly the most epic party ever. It was pure bliss and happiness for us and everybody around us,” says Sarah.
