I don't believe in a lot in life but I definitely believe in fate and Nathan being our MC was absolutely the alignment of the stars and planets. A couple of years ago my then boyfriend and I joined an old high school friend and her new boyfriend for a trivia night. We're a competitive bunch and we all got along so well that this became a weekly tradition at the Albion Hotel in Parramatta. We got to know the trivia host, this fella named Nathan, and enjoyed our weekly nights out but thought there was nothing more to it. In October 2024, as a now engaged couple, my partner and I went to a wedding for an old high school friend of his. As we all stood around before the ceremony started he tapped me on the shoulder with a laugh "I think that's our trivia host..." lo and behold there he was. That day we discovered that our little Tuesday night trivia host was actually an incredible wedding MC and that the Trivia gig was nothing in comparison. We had the most fun we've had at a wedding not in just a long time but ever. I've never experienced a wedding that flowed so well and kept everyone engaged the whole time. Nathan came and had a seat with us and we got to chatting about the coincidence of everything so far and as all good business people would, Nathan asked if we had an MC for our upcoming wedding. I shrugged my shoulders and told him it was something we didn't really care about or didn't really think it was too much of a deal but also admitted that seeing all he had done thus far at that wedding had opened our minds. He checked his calendar to see if he was available on our date which he was and the rest was history from there. In the months following that day my partner Jack and I experienced the highs and lows of wedding planning. From the day we booked and all the way until the morning of the wedding there was not one second where I doubted Nathan or felt that he was a subject of anxiety in our plans. I mention the morning of the wedding because despite my meticulous planning I managed to forget to send him an email that I had planned to do a week earlier so just a few hours before we were all due to arrive at the ceremony I was giving him notes for things we needed him to mention in his MC address at the reception. He told me not to worry about it and for good reason because he nailed it, no issues at all. Leading up to the wedding day we selected two games that we wanted to play during the reception - Wedding Couple True or False and Marriage Match Game. I can not recommend these enough to any perspective couple looking to book Nathan or who has just booked Nathan. The inclusions of the games kept everyone engaged and invested during those potential lull periods in between mains. I've had so many guests tell us that it was so different to any wedding that they had been to before and that it made the night so much fun. From start to finish Nathan was a perfect balance of professional and casual. He knew when to switch into second gear and when it was okay to ride on cruise control. I sincerely couldn't think of a complaint even if I wanted to. Maybe just that we didn't get a selfie with him on the night! I've received feedback from my vendors who had dealt with him before and who had never dealt with him before which were all incredibly positive. From wide and far, he helped make the day run so smoothly and effortlessly which is pretty special considering how chaotic weddings are and anyone who has planned a wedding before knows that that is not an easy feat. We can not recommend Nathan enough. Do not ever let yourself fall into the trap of thinking that an MC isn't important for your wedding. You are doing yourself a disservice if you do. I promise, when it is all said and done you'll think it was some of the best money spent on the wedding. You truly haven't experienced a wedding until you've been to a Nathan Cassar wedding.

Nathan was an amazing MC at our wedding and we highly recommend him!!! Nathan was organised, reliable and so helpful on our special day. He went above and beyond to help us coordinate our runsheet and secret fireworks, reaching out to the right people to make sure everything ran smoothly. When our runsheet times changed a bit, he knew exactly how to make up the time so that we were back on track and still did everything we wanted to do. Nathan was our MC at our wedding at Curzon Hall and he was fantastic!! From start to finish, he was so easy to communicate with, always responsive, and gave us really helpful recommendations that made planning so much easier. Calm, real-time problem-solving is built into the Wedding Wingman approach. When timelines shift or something unexpected happens, it is managed quietly without becoming visible to the room. You will not be asked to make major decisions on the night — that is part of what you are securing.

The biggest difference is that I do not treat MCing as just microphone work.Of course, announcements matter. But the real value is in everything around those announcements: planning the flow, understanding your story, supporting your speakers, keeping vendors aligned, reading the room, lifting the energy, handling changes quietly, and making sure the reception feels connected from start to finish.Another quote may cover the formalities. My role is to help protect the entire reception experience.
I have been entertaining for around 10+ yrs. I started public speaking and small MC gigs before I started cruise ship entertainment in 2015.I joined Princess Cruises as an Assistant Cruise Director for 3.5 years, sailing all around the world entertaining audiences comprising over 40 nationalities. Later I would join their head office to train cruise directors and create large-scale gameshow for the entire fleet.Then, in April 2021, following my brother's wedding, I began my business full-time as a professional MC. You can expect me to arrive at least 1 hour prior to guest arrival to your venue to familiarise myself with the venue, introduce myself to your vendors and venue manager and, most importantly, let you know I have arrived so we can kick the event off without a hitch!I also will stay until the very end, hosting you and your guests until the night is done. Can't Master a ceremony if you only do half of it!
Never fear! I totally understand the unexpected happens and I want you to feel as comfortable as you can knowing I've got you covered:If your wedding is being postponed and I can make the new date, I will simply shift your booking to that date as though you originally booked it.If your wedding is postponed to a date I CANNOT make, I will assist with finding a replacement and then give any money paid (minus the booking retainer) to the new MC. I will also catch them up to date with everything to do with your wedding arranged so far.If your wedding is cancelled and I am notified more than 4 weeks before the date, I will refund all money paid, minus the booking retainer.All my terms are listed in my Service Agreement, however, as a rule of thumb, the earlier you let me know the easier it will be for me to make a decision that is fair for the both of us.
While it is helpful to know approximately how long you've booked your reception for, my base rate covers your entire reception period.I don't operate on hourly rates etc. as I believe being present and MCing the entire reception is truly what a MASTER of Ceremonies is. It also allows me to best get to know and entertain you and your guests and ensures I am taking care of every detail from start to finish.
