Samantha and Aaron met at the photocopier machine at work in Melbourne and the chemistry between them was undeniable, six months later they moved to Sydney and the rest is history!
Aaron proposed during their first overseas trip together over the Christmas period. “A proposal was not on the mind at all, so to say it was a surprise when he got down on one knee was an understatement. Being a very emotional person it was safe to say I cried like a baby – Aaron wasn’t sure if I was actually upset or had tears of joy … It was the best holiday!” Samantha told Wedded Wonderland.
Aaron and Samantha’s wedding was elegant, chic and a perfect reflection of their relationship, starting with a low-key ceremony at Paddington Reservoir Gardens, followed by a reception dinner at Bennelong Restaurant at the Opera House.
“We could not wipe the smiles off our faces all day. The night went perfectly, the food was amazing and we had a few speeches from our family which ended the night on a high. It was so simple but we are so happy with what we chose,” the couple told Wedded Wonderland.
Overall, reflecting back on their special day, Aaron and Samantha said, “We were never big on having a large wedding and always wanted to keep it intimate – we stuck to our guns and we’re really happy we did.”
