When it comes to luxury weddings, few can orchestrate a celebration as seamlessly as Mary Ronis Events. And when Indian tradition meets Italian passion? Well, that’s when the fireworks really begin.
Resham, a vision of Indian elegance, and Jamie, with his rich Italian heritage, didn’t just get married, they hosted a four-day cultural spectacle in Australia that had guests talking long after the last dance.
The Sangeet was all about music, movement, and mayhem (the best kind). With dark teal, orange, and deep reds in a space transformed into an Indian palace. With around 400 people in attendance, their closest friends and family performed show-stopping choreographed dances, a joyful blur of sequins, laughter, and sass.
Haldi is all about blessings, beauty, and turmeric glow-ups. A traditional day where the planets are aligned to create blessings for a peaceful marriage and covering the couple with turmeric to purify and cleanse them ready for new beginnings.
Under Mary’s creative eye, fuchsia, yellow, and orange filled the space, with firebreathers, drummers, and even a rickshaw photo booth. Around 70 of their closest friends and family left with sweet treats and even sweeter memories.
With peach tones inspired by Resham’s dress, this ceremony was steeped in meaning. From the groom’s grand horse entry to Resham’s arrival under a canopy carried by her male relatives, it was tradition wrapped in pure romance.
Mary fused Italian elegance with Indian vibrance, adding Roman statues, Indian cuisine, and a twinkling night garden inspired by Jamie’s under-the-stars proposal. Both fathers sang heartfelt tributes sealing the night with love, laughter, and a little operatic flair.
