Real Wedding: Ballet Couple Tie the Knot at Australia’

Let’s consider Stephanie and Daniil as the ultimate ballet couple, because that’s exactly what they are! After meeting in Estonia, at a ballet barre, this driven and passionate pair laid eyes on each other for the first time and haven’t looked back since. Stephanie had just landed her first professional ballet contract and wasn’t expecting to meet her Mr right just so soon. Their similar goals, ambitions and lifestyle however, drew them closer and closer together, one pirouette at a time.

Planning a wedding in Australia whilst living and working in Europe might prove to be a difficult task for some, but for Stephanie and Daniil, being able to plan their own wedding made it worth their while. They planned an intimate and quirky wedding overlooking the vines at the Cricketers Pavilion, Wandin Valley. Complete with a unique bridal party (an odd number of bridesmaids to groomsmen, one groomswoman, a flower girl and their dog Chino), and a raffle that gave guests the chance to win candle centerpieces.

Working as ballet dancers meant that Stephanie and Daniil got to travel the world working and dancing side by side, but whilst this was a dream, it also proved to be difficult when leaving loved ones behind. On their wedding day however, friends and family from all around the world flew to Australia to join the pair on their special day, making it a day they will always cherish.
