Angel City Jewelers, founded by Isaac Bokhoor and Sam Tack, recently shared a closer look at the ring they created for Lee, describing the centre diamond as an immaculate natural stone weighing more than 20 carats.

Before the jeweler confirmed the carat weight, jewellery experts had estimated the stone at a smaller, though still enormous, size and suggested it could be worth anywhere from around $1 million to $2.5 million. The official purchase price has not been disclosed, but the confirmed 20-plus-carat weight puts the ring firmly into ultra-rare territory.
So, who else has stepped out with a diamond large enough to make a standard engagement ring look positively petite?
Christy Lee now joins a rare group of celebrities associated with engagement rings estimated at 20 carats or more, and the names on that list are predictably glittering.
Lauren Sánchez received an estimated 30-carat cushion-cut pink diamond from Jeff Bezos when they became engaged in 2023. Sánchez herself confirmed that the centre stone is a pink diamond, while jewellers have estimated its size at around 25 to 30 carats. The ring is believed to be worth millions, making it one of the most spectacular celebrity engagement rings in recent years.
Then there is Georgina Rodríguez, whose enormous oval-cut engagement ring from Cristiano Ronaldo has also been estimated at well over 30 carats. Either way, subtle was clearly not part of the brief.
Paris Hilton is another member of the supersized diamond conversation. Her engagement ring from Carter Reum featured a 20-carat emerald-cut diamond, while an earlier engagement ring from Chris Zylka also reportedly featured a diamond of approximately 20 carats.
And, of course, Kim Kardashian's famous engagement ring from Kris Humphries featured a 20.5-carat emerald-cut diamond, becoming one of the most recognisable celebrity engagement rings of the 2010s.
